November is Family Caregivers Month. Carers need more recognition for this vital role. Which does not come with training, a salary or sick leave or holidays. Many people are caregivers without realising it. This is especially true for grandparents and young carers or children caregivers. They are an integral part of the community. Helping individuals maintain independence and assisting family or friends avoid institutional care.
